Reporting to the Business Systems Analysis Manager, the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the strategic liaison between Information Technology and assigned business units. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with business leaders, developing a deep understanding of business goals and challenges, and identifying opportunities where technology can enable business growth, efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence. The BRM acts as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating business needs into technology opportunities while ensuring IT initiatives align with organizational priorities. The position works collaboratively with business leadership, PMO Leadership, architects, analysts, and vendors to align benefit realization through technology solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary liaison for business stakeholders seeking assistance, guidance, or engagement with IT.
- Guide business partners through established IT processes related to incidents, investigations, enhancement requests, projects, and technology initiatives.
- Ensure business stakeholders understand available IT services, support models, governance, and intake procedures.
- Coordinate with IT teams to facilitate timely responses and appropriate ownership of business requests.
- Serve as a point of contact for business stakeholders when recurring patterns of IT service, communication, or prioritization barriers raise broader business concerns.
- Partner with IT delivery teams to evaluate solution options and recommend appropriate technologies.
- Assist business stakeholders in prioritizing initiatives based on business value, risk, resource requirements, and strategic alignment.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5 years’ experience in lieu of degree
- 4+ years of experience in BRM, IT Consulting, Program Management, or similar roles.
- Experience working with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
- IIBA, BRMP, CBAP, PMI, or similar professional certification.
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, sales, service, or industrial business environments.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
