About the Role

As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the leading healthcare sector, you will provide specialized surgical treatment to patients with conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, and facial regions. Responsibilities include performing a wide range of surgical procedures and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ oral and maxillofacial conditions through detailed examination and assessment
  • Develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
  • Perform complex surgeries such as extractions, orthognathic surgeries, implant placements, and trauma repairs
  • Diagnose and treat oral diseases, deformities, and infections
  • Collaborate with dental, medical, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide post-operative care and long-term follow-up to ensure successful recovery
  • Stay abreast of advances in oral and maxillofacial surgical techniques and technologies through continuous education

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DMD) with board certification or equivalent in oral and maxillofacial surgery
  • Proven experience in performing a broad spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current surgical methods, patient safety, and care protocols
  • Strong expertise in oral anatomy, pathology, and surgical treatment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex surgical challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within healthcare teams
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
