About The Role
What You Get To Do
The Placement Supervisor is responsible for certifying, de-certifying, and re-certifying Child residential homes in accordance with regulations published by the Colorado State Department of Human Services.  The Placement Supervisor recruits, certifies, orients, and provides ongoing training and oversight of child residential/foster providers and their homes.
DEVELOPMENT AND CERTIFICATION
- Certify, re-certify, and de-certify child residential/foster homes.
- Recruit and retain qualified foster and residential home providers.
- Complete and/or oversee background checks and home studies.
- Ensure timely recertification of all homes.
- Close homes when appropriate.
- Issue certification, recertification, and de-certification documents to relevant entities.
- Determine the suitability of prospective foster parents or independent contractors.

- What Makes You a Great Fit: 
- Colorado residency is required
- Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences with a minimum of 3 years of direct child placement experience, OR Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences with a minimum of 1 year of direct child placement experience
- Full compliance with all regulatory standards as established by the Colorado State Department of Human Services pertaining to personnel qualifications for Child Care Facility Licensing is mandatory
