JOB PURPOSE
In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and stewarding Dove’s global Masterbrand strategy and k ey pro jects sup porting our wider purpose initiatives . You will help ensure Dove’s purpose; point of view and strategic choices are clearly defined, consistently embedded and effectively translated across categories, markets and key brand initiatives. This wi ll also i nclude partnership a nd agency manage ment as well as regular exposure to internal senior stakeholders , r equiri ng strong ownership of brand governance, strategic delivery and budget management .
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
S trategy and S tewardship
- Work directly with the Masterbrand Senior Marketing Manager to help set and articulate the future vision for the brand , translating Dove’s strategy into clear direction for the brand’s look, feel and expression across key touchpoints. This includes helping define the strategic ambition, principles and guardrails for priority brand assets such as design, music strategy and unmissable in-store POS, ensuring they are distinctive, globally consistent and rooted in Dove’s purpose and point of view
- Lead the Masterbrand talent shoot, bringing Dove’s evolved brand strategy and expression to life through a new visual library of women that reflects the brand’s point of view, tone and future-facing expression
- Support the development and maintenance of core Dove strategy and stewardship documents, including strategic frameworks & brand guidance
- Drive ongoing brand stewardship, including reviewing key strategic and communication outputs, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and supporting teams to strengthen alignment to Dove’s global brand ambition
- Lead the Dove Masterbrand budget, taking full accountability and ownership for budget tracking, spend management, PO processes, monthly alignment with finance and stakeholders, and clear reporting of risks, choices and decisions required
Purp ose I mp lement ation and Management
- Support the DSEP team in keeping current DSEP activities running, managing existing tools, updating them where necessary, and supporting external partnerships to ensure delivery
- Partner with key local market teams to support delivery of DSEP priorities, including lives reached targets, intervention implementation, reporting accuracy and alignment of DSEP activity within Dove’s wider brand strategy
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience in leading projects: you have experience in working to deliver projects that are complex, landing in more than one market, through external partners (Agencies) or suppliers (Brand Do implementors), capacity to lead a network and to hold a team accountable for delivery
- Experience in crafting propositions: you have experience in crafting unmissable ideas; an instinct for identifying great ideas, the marketing skills to shape ideas into inspiring executions. Specially in this case, they will land not in products or comms but in brand Do initiatives that the brand can talk about
- Experience working with external organisations and global agencies : if you have worked with healthcare organisations, NGOs , institutional organisations or global agencies and you know the complexities of developing initiatives together with them
- The ability to understand culture and “be in culture” : as our world moves so fast, so does culture, and it is the same for the continuous evolution of our Purpose work. Whilst our Purpose stays the same, we constantly discuss and work on the nuances and the way in which culture shifts. We expect you to have energy and enthusiasm in wanting to deep dive into this as a part of your daily job

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Proven experience within a marketing and communications role ( and/or brand innovations), within an FMCG (or similar) setting
- Experience with excel, PowerPoint, digital and social media platforms, AI and Unilever finance
- Have worked with global agencies and leading projects
- Experience as project lead across business functions
- Global Market management experience
- Partnership management experience
Desirable
- Previous experience working on a Brands Social impact
- E xperience working with partners e.g., NGO , corporate and media partners
- Previous experience within health, mental health, youth or adolescent settings.
- Experience working with health experts and academics.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Project management : be able to manage and allocate budgets, time management, attention to detail, manage creative, media and digital agencies and partners such as academics, be able to work on multiple projects at one time
- Influences stakeholders effectively across a matrix organisation both internal and external
- Leads cross- category stra tegic projects and drives execution with excellence
- Communication skills: excellent written and verbal
- Thrives in ambiguity and demonstrates a proactive, ownership mindset
- Marketing knowledge with some level of creativity
- Demo nstrates st rong s trategic thinking & a nalytical skills to help set strategy, measure progress, justify spends and refine efforts based on data and learnings
