Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, North Asia & SEAA, you will translate regional priorities into thoughtful, practical frameworks, routines and tools that enable markets to act with confidence and consistency.

This is a role for someone who brings technical depth, sound judgement and collaborative influence, and who is motivated to build capability, anticipate risk and continuously elevate how we care for our people.

  • Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Readiness : Shape, embed and continuously improve the regional emergency preparedness framework, including response plans, crisis and incident readiness routines, simulations, exercises, communication protocols, training and readiness KPIs across markets.
  • Health & Safety Culture Infusion : Drive H&S culture creation through targeted communication, employee engagement, leadership routines, safety moments and recognition of good practices,
  • Shared Responsibility, Health & Wellbeing : Partner with Rewards, P&O and Market teams on wellbeing and return-to-work priorities, aligned with business objectives and local requirements.
  • Governance, Standards, Reporting & Insights : Strengthen regional H&S governance through consistent standards, reporting cadence, risk escalation and follow-up actions, using dashboard and KPI insights to monitor performance, identify trends and support improvement planning.
  • Capability Building & Market Enablement : Build market and functional capability through expert guidance, coaching, tools and practical support, including ownership of the H&S learning matrix and training programme to identify capability gaps and support consistent competency across markets.
  • Regional Initiatives, Projects & Stakeholder Partnership : Lead regional H&S projects and initiatives by defining scope, timelines, stakeholder engagement, progress tracking and follow-up actions, ensuring implementation within agreed resources and timelines.
  • Regulatory Metrics & Continuous Improvement : Manage and continuously improve regional H&S regulatory reporting metrics, including CSRD-related requirements, benchmarking and audit-ready evidence to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Hong Kong & Macau Technical Advisory : Provide focused technical H&S advisory support for Hong Kong and Macau, connected to broader regional priorities and ways of working.

What You Will Bring…

  • Deep occupational health and safety expertise, including emergency preparedness, incident response, crisis readiness, simulations, exercises, readiness KPIs and H&S management systems in complex, multi-market environments.
  • Ability to build H&S culture, shared accountability and capability through practical guidance, learning, coaching, communication routines, employee engagement and stakeholder partnership.
  • Strong governance, reporting and performance discipline, with experience in KPI tracking, dashboard management, benchmarking, regulatory reporting, audit-ready evidence and data-led improvement planning.
  • Credibility and influence with Market H&S teams, H&S Committees, senior leaders and functional partners, combining technical expertise with empathy, sound judgement, prioritisation and pragmatic execution.
  • Project management capability to plan, coordinate and deliver regional H&S initiatives across markets and functions, with clear scope, stakeholder alignment, governance and follow-through.
  • Strong understanding of H&S legislation, risk management, ISO 45001 principles, health and wellbeing programme design, return-to-work principles and locally relevant regulatory expectations.

Work Experience and Education

  • Degree or above in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, Science, Risk Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Deep knowledge and solid H&S experience, including regional or multi-market exposure across corporate, retail, distribution centres, facilities or similar environments.
  • Professional H&S certification or accreditation such as BCSP, NEBOSH, IOSH, Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer, ISO 45001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage for Hong Kong and North Asia market engagement.
