About The Role

This is a UK-based remote role. You will be required to interview in person.

About SailPoint

SailPoint is defining the next era of identity security. Our unified, AI-powered platform seamlessly secures both the Human Fabric of your workforce and the Agentic Fabric of AI and non-human identities, completely eliminating organizational blind spots.

Built on core principles like zero-standing privilege and contextualized risk, our platform transforms identity from a vulnerability into a strategic business advantage. Today, we are trusted by some of the largest, most complex organizations in the world to deliver intelligent, autonomous identity security at scale.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at SailPoint, you will be at the forefront of powering intelligent identity decisions across modern enterprise environments. In your day-to-day work, you will design, build, and deploy robust full-stack microservices for the Policy Engine—a mission-critical system delivering real-time and batch decision evaluations for cutting-edge initiatives like the SailPoint Agentic Fabric. You will rapidly prototype solutions, hone product requirements with cross-functional partners, and build performant, maintainable software using modern technologies including Golang and Angular. Embracing modern AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, you will actively apply the latest engineering techniques to deliver high-impact security capabilities at global scale.

About the team

You will join the UK Platform Engineering team, a highly collaborative group responsible for architecting, building, and running core platform services. The team consists of talented engineers passionate about crafting resilient distributed systems and end-to-end features. While we enjoy the flexibility of remote work, we stay closely connected through regular collaboration and gather in person once per quarter for an energizing one- to two-day team offsite.

  • Participate actively in the 24x7 engineering on-call support rotation (approximately 1 week in 20).
  • Lead design reviews, mentor team members on best practices, and introduce agentic coding workflows to accelerate team delivery.

1 year

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Policy Engine and Agentic Fabric decision systems.
  • Drive technical roadmaps and architectural evolution for key microservices across the UK Platform team.
