Join the Ambulatory Cardiology Clinic in Lafayette, located at 5177 McCarty Lane, and make a meaningful impact caring for cardiovascular patients alongside a collaborative team of 23 providers. This hybrid role offers an exceptional work-life balance with one week onsite per month and three weeks remote, working four 10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) . Responsibilities include telephone triage, nurse visits, prior authorizations, FMLA paperwork, and coordinating patient appointments, testing, and procedures. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of RN experience in a hospital or clinic setting and a passion for delivering outstanding patient-centered care in a growing cardiology practice.

Qualifications

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.

  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
