About The Role

Job Summary

The Experienced Senior Associate for the Forensic Technology – Project Management Team is responsible for independently managing defined workstreams across eDiscovery and related matters, partnering with subject matter experts (“SME”), clients, counsel, and internal delivery teams to support consistent execution, defensible workflows, and high-quality project delivery.

The Experienced Senior Associate is expected to apply sound operational judgment, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and help translate matter objectives into practical workflows. This includes supporting scoping and preservation discussions, coordinating with client IT and the FTS Digital Forensic team, managing data ingestion and culling workflows, and assisting with search, analytics, review, and production strategies in RelativityOne. The role requires curiosity, strong follow-through, and the ability to identify risks, ask thoughtful questions, and escalate appropriately.

Job Duties

  • Serves as a day-to-day contact between the FTS team, clients, counsel, and internal stakeholders for assigned workstreams
  • Responds directly to client requests and provides practical guidance within the framework of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including coordination with digital forensics, managed review, eDiscovery administration, and other delivery teams
  • Develops, maintains, and executes project plans, timelines, trackers, and communication routines to support matter objectives and delivery expectations
  • Executes against agreed eDiscovery protocols and matter-specific processing, review, and production requirements
  • Coordinates and supports end-to-end RelativityOne workflows, including processing coordination, early case assessment, review workflows, analytics, machine translation workflows, and complex production support
  • Adopts, leverages, and applies appropriate analytics, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency, consistency, and client service
  • Consults on technology assisted review, analytics, and AI-enabled review workflows, applying a working understanding of appropriate use, workflow design, validation considerations, and escalation points
  • Analyzes and provides meaningful insights, interpretations and guidance by leveraging data intelligence and mining solutions (e.g. SmartSheet, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, trend analyses) to educate and consult with clients
  • Manages multiple workstreams across assigned matters, including issue tracking, escalation coordination, status reporting, and day-to-day follow-through
  • Reviews work product, identifies inconsistencies or risks, and helps guide junior team members through established workflows and project expectations
  • Maintains curiosity about trends, new tools, evolving client needs, and the broader eDiscovery marketplace in the service of our clients
  • Translates highly technical information to non-technical clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Statistics, Management Consulting, Management Information Sciences, preferred

Experience

  • Four (4) or more years of eDiscovery project, litigation support, forensic technology, or related client delivery experience, required

License/Certifications

  • Two (2) or more Relativity certifications, strongly preferred. Example certifications include:
  • Relativity Certified Administrator, preferred
  • RelativityOne Reviewer Pro, Relativity Analytics Specialist, and/or Relativity Project Management Specialist, strongly preferred
  • Certifications with other eDiscovery, analytics, forensic, or data management platforms, preferred
  • One (1) or more Relativity certification, required; two (2) or more Relativity certifications, strongly preferred
  • Membership within industry professional organizations, preferred

Software

  • Proficient in RelativityOne, including matter administration, review workflows, analytics, and production support, preferred
  • Working knowledge of related eDiscovery, analytics, reporting, or workflow management tools, preferred
  • Proficiency or demonstrated curiosity in discovery-related AI applications and emerging legal technology, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $100,000 - $120,500

Maryland Range: $100,000 - $120,500

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $100,000 - $120,500
