Duration: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: Up to $25.00/hr. (Depending on Experience)

Available Positions

Steel Fitter – 1st Shift: 1 opening — Up to $25.00/hr.

Steel Fitter – 2nd Shift: 1 opening — Up to $25.00/hr. + $3.00/hr. shift differential

Structural Steel Welder/Fitter – 1st Shift: 1 opening — Up to $25.00/hr.

2nd Shift Differential: Employees working the 2nd Shift Steel Fitter position will receive an additional $3.00/hr. night shift differential, for a potential rate of up to $28.00/hr., depending on experience.

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Steel Fitters and Structural Steel Welder/Fitters to join our team. These positions play a vital role in fabricating, fitting, assembling, and welding structural steel components while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of our projects.

The ideal candidates will have structural steel fabrication experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

What You'll Do

Use blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan fabrication and assembly work.
Lay out, measure, position, and align structural steel pieces for proper fit-up.
Assemble and fit steel components before welding.
Perform Flux Core welding when required for the Welder/Fitter position.
Set up and operate a track torch .
Safely use and maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
Check dimensions, fit, and finished work for accuracy and quality.
Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to keep production on schedule.
Maintain an orderly work area and follow all applicable safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of structural steel fabrication experience required.
Previous experience as a Structural Steel Fitter, Welder/Fitter, Structural Welder , or similar position.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings .
Hands-on experience with structural steel layout, fitting, and assembly .
Knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and materials.
Ability to set up and use a track torch .
Ability to perform Flux Core welding and successfully pass a pre-employment welding test.
AWS or other welding certification preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise work.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
