Project Manager (Installation) - Sydney/Central Coast NSW

As we expand our Australian installation capability, we are strengthening our NSW delivery team with commercially accountable project leadership.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager (Installation) to take full commercial and delivery ownership of multiple concurrent installation projects across NSW.

Based in Sydney or the Central Coast, you will manage projects from site mobilisation through to completion, operating in live Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor environments. This is a senior delivery role with direct accountability for margin performance, variation recovery, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined contract administration.

You’ll be involved in

• Managing multiple concurrent civil/construction installation projects
• Identifying, issuing and negotiating variations early
• Managing Extension of Time (EOT) implications
• Cost-to-complete forecasting and margin protection
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Maintaining QA compliance and set-out verification
• Providing weekly progress, risk and financial reporting
• Ensuring strong WHS compliance and site safety practices
• Travel across NSW and interstate will be required in line with project demands

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing civil or construction installation projects
• Proven experience negotiating and recovering variations
• Demonstrated ownership of project financial performance and margin outcomes
• Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost control)
• Ability to confidently interpret civil and structural drawings
• Experience working within Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environments
• White Card and current driver’s licence (required)

Desirable

• Civil Engineering or Construction/Project Management qualification
• Experience with AS contract administration
• Background in civil infrastructure, landscape construction, or engineered systems installation
