The Role
As Lead, Security Operations, Information & Corporate Security, you will help strengthen CPP Investments’ security operations by leading security monitoring, incident response, risk reporting, and the effective use of security technologies.
You will work closely with security professionals and partners across the organization to identify and respond to security risks, provide security advice and assessments, and support a resilient and effective security program.
Information & Corporate Security supports the protection of CPP Investments’ information, technology, and operations through security governance, risk management, security technologies, awareness, and incident response. The Security Operations team works collaboratively across the organization to identify, assess, monitor, and respond to security risks and incidents.

Accountabilities
- Lead security operations activities, including monitoring, incident response, remediation, and coordination in accordance with established security frameworks
- Develop security reporting and dashboards, analyze security metrics, and identify emerging risks and trends to support informed decision-making
- Support the effective operation and oversight of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, DLP, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security orchestration and automation, and cloud security
- Provide security advice and assessments on security risks, controls, technologies, and operational issues
- Support the development and ongoing effectiveness of security policies, procedures, standards, controls, and program metrics
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors and suppliers to support security operations and broader information security objectives
- Contribute to security awareness and role-based training initiatives aligned with key organizational security risks
What You Bring
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field
- 6+ years of relevant information or cyber security experience
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, or another of the listed security certifications
- Experience managing or deploying IT infrastructure or cyber security technologies is preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of security technologies and practices, including SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security automation, and cloud security
- Experience contributing to security incident response, risk assessment, security monitoring, and remediation activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
