About The Role

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing end-to-end logistical, operational, technical, and customer support for US + Canada Learning programs. Coordinates learning events and program launches; manages participant, facilitator, system, material, communication, and reporting activities; and partners across teams and vendors to deliver a consistent, high-quality learning experience. Works with minimal day-to-day supervision, exercises sound judgment within established priorities and policies, and proactively identifies, resolves, and escalates issues as appropriate.

Position Specific Expected Job Contributions

  • Provides logistical support for virtual, in-person, and blended Learning programs, meetings, events, and occasional conferences.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for learner, facilitator, and stakeholder customer service, responding within established service expectations and providing clear follow-up.
  • Provides instructor and facilitator logistical support, including schedules, rosters, materials, prework, confirmations, participant communications, and delivery support.
  • Provides technical and administrative support for learning platforms and related tools, including class set-up, enrollment and unenrollment, participant status tracking, prerequisite and learning-history checks, completion management, reporting, and billing support.
  • Maintains accurate rosters, trackers, shared resources, source data, and program records using consistent documentation, naming, and version-control practices.
  • Troubleshoots routine system, access, and process issues; documents resolution steps and escalates issues with sufficient context when additional support is required.
  • Coordinates assigned workstreams and project launches from planning through closeout, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, handoffs, and follow-up actions.
  • Prioritizes daily work based on business needs, program calendars, service commitments, and leader direction; identifies competing priorities early and recommends options or tradeoffs.
  • Anticipates operational risks, resolves routine issues independently, and escalates material risks, policy questions, budget concerns, or decisions outside role authority.
  • Manages multiple programs and changing priorities while meeting commitments, deadlines, and quality expectations with limited supervision.
  • Supports the measurement strategy for training programs, including participant and facilitator evaluations, completion data, and operational reporting.
  • Compiles and validates data, identifies trends or exceptions, and translates findings into clear updates for program leaders and stakeholders.
  • Assists with execution of sustainment mechanisms, recurring communications, resource updates, reinforcement activities, and process documentation for Learning/HR programs.
  • Creates, maintains, proofreads, and edits learner, facilitator, and stakeholder communications, job aids, templates, internal pages, and procedural documentation to ensure accuracy and high quality.
  • Manages materials fulfillment and coordinates required third-party vendors or assessment providers.
  • Works effectively with Learning Technology, Implementation, Program Management, Communications, other Centers of Excellence, facilitators, vendors, and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinates vendor logistics, deliverables, timelines, billing support, and issue resolution within established agreements and role authority.
  • Completes work within approved budget guidelines and promptly raises discrepancies or potential cost impacts.
  • Identifies opportunities to simplify, standardize, consolidate, or automate work and supports implementation of approved process improvements.
  • Protects confidential information and follows approved data-handling, accessibility, records, security, and compliance requirements.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record coordinating projects, programs, events, or operational launches involving multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Background supporting a Learning, Talent, Human Resources, hospitality, lodging, service, or similarly customer-focused function preferred.
  • Experience providing customer support, maintaining accurate operational records, and coordinating work across teams or vendors.
  • Experience with learning management systems and virtual learning platforms preferred.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience and knowledge in logistics, program coordination, process flow, and operational execution.
  • Project and work management skills, including prioritization, issue tracking, risk escalation, documentation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Communication skills, including listening, oral and written communication, facilitation support, presentation, proofreading, editing, and audience-focused messaging.
  • Familiarity with classroom, virtual, online, and blended learning delivery options and media.
  • Research, data gathering, validation, analysis, reporting, and process-measurement skills.
  • Procedural documentation, job aid, template, and knowledge-management skills.
  • Ability to elicit information from subject-matter experts and translate it into clear operational requirements or communications.
  • Business and process knowledge related to Marriott functions, culture, systems, customers, quality measures, and stakeholder needs.
  • Digital proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Smartsheet; experience with learning management systems and other required learning technologies preferred.
  • Ability to connect operational work to learner, stakeholder, and organizational outcomes.

TRAVEL

May be required to travel to vendor sites, department meetings, learning programs, events, and conferences.
