Target Range

  • $70,304.00/Yr. - $90,000.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
  • Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
  • Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
  • These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos Bank is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank. As part of the Office of the President, this role serves as the President's primary executive support while providing designated support to the Consumer & Small Business Bank senior leadership team, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense management, meeting support, departmental activity coordination, and other administrative support as business needs require.

This position serves as a trusted partner to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank by proactively managing priorities, coordinating across senior leaders and business partners, and supporting the effective execution of key meetings, executive deliverables, and business initiatives. The Executive Assistant will have visibility into highly confidential business, personnel, financial, operational, and strategic matters and must consistently demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs, manages competing priorities effectively, and operates with a high degree of independence, accountability, and attention to detail. This is a full-time onsite position based in Axos Bank's San Diego headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support to the President, Consumer & Small Business Bank, managing a complex calendar, travel, meetings, priorities, and executive deliverables
  • Anticipate needs, identify risks or conflicts, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance executive effectiveness
  • Manage special projects, track action items, and provide status updates on key initiatives
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, governance activities, conferences, and executive events, including logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up
  • Triage customer and executive escalations, ensuring timely resolution and communication
  • Support audit, committee, board, and governance deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, confidentiality, and timely submission
  • Prepare, review, and distribute executive communications, presentations, agendas, briefing materials, and reports
  • Manage expense reporting, corporate card administration, and administrative operations for the Office of the President
  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional communication and coordination
  • Support onboarding, departmental operations, special assignments, and other administrative functions as needed
  • Maintain a daily on-site presence in the San Diego office

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of executive support experience, including support of senior leaders (VP+); C-suite support preferred
  • Financial services, banking, or other regulated industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive, board, and governance materials
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information
  • Professional executive presence with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, clients, regulators, and external partners
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently while exercising sound decision-making
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency, including leveraging AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness
