About The Role
The Office Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch. This position serves as a central point of contact for customers, employees, and business partners while providing administrative, customer service, payroll, inventory, and accounting support. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, and take pride in delivering accurate and timely service.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries, processing orders, handling payments, and supporting front-counter sales activities.
- Coordinate customer orders with operations to ensure accurate processing, timely fulfillment, and a positive customer experience.
- Support payroll administration, employee onboarding, training records, and other employee-related administrative activities.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, account inquiries, reconciliations, collections, and period-end activities.
- Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts, inventory reporting, product tracking, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, customer pricing updates, inventory adjustments, and other transactions within company systems.
- Complete branch administrative activities, including reporting, record management, filing, petty cash balancing, and general office support.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, procurement, finance, and other branch locations to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative or office support role, in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory management processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of or experience in the agriculture industry would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends during busy season
