About The Role

Hilltop Securities is currently looking to hire an Advisor Training Coordinator in Dallas, Texas. The Advisor Training Coordinator is responsible for delivering training, supporting advisor onboarding, and assist with maintenance training materials for financial advisors and support staff. This role helps ensure advisors understand firm technology platforms, operational processes, and policies by conducting training sessions, answering questions, and providing ongoing training support.

  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions for new and existing advisors and support staff.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training programs.
  • Assist with advisor onboarding and orientation training.
  • Provide follow-up and answer questions related to training topics, including using technology solutions.
  • Coordinate training schedules, meeting invitations, and participant communications.
  • Track attendance and completion of training programs.
  • Maintain training records and reporting metrics.
  • Assist with training-related projects and department initiatives.
  • Create, prepare, maintain, and update training materials, job aids, presentations, and reference guides.
  • Ensure training materials are current and aligned with operational processes.
  • Organize and maintain training resources in shared repositories.
  • Assist in delivering training related to firm policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Assist with communicating process changes and system updates to advisors and staff.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure training information is accurate and current.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in training, customer support, operations, financial services, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including conducting presentations, training sessions, or group meetings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; overtime and weekends required as needed, often at short notice.
  • Some travel may be required for occasional onboarding, training & company meetings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of transition procedures, including Broker Protocol and non-Protocol, and ability disseminate that information in a clear and precise manner to potential advisors as well as the internal transition team (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate, complete, and high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, brokerage operations, or advisor support (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and advisor-facing technology platforms (preferred).
