About The Role
We are seeking two early-career professionals to join our Product Sustainability team at UL Solutions. This team supports a variety of sustainability certification and environmental validation programs, helping customers demonstrate their environmental commitments and compliance with recognized sustainability standards.
One position will primarily support Environmental Claim Validations (ECVs) , including programs such as Zero Waste to Landfill, Recycled Content, and Bio-Based Content . The second position will focus on ECOLOGO and EPEAT certifications for electronic products, supporting document reviews, compliance evaluations, and certification activities.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sustainability, eager to learn, and interested in developing technical expertise while working directly with customers and global team members. Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, have strong analytical skills, and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Review and analyze technical documentation submitted by customers to support sustainability certification and validation programs.
- Support Environmental Claim Validation (ECV) projects, including programs such as Zero Waste to Landfill, Recycled Content, and Bio-Based Content.
- Conduct data reviews and assist with annual certification and validation renewals.
- Evaluate customer documentation against sustainability standards and certification requirements.
- Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements, documentation needs, and project status.
- Collaborate with internal technical experts and global team members to ensure consistent application of sustainability standards and methodologies.
- Assist in the delivery of sustainability certification programs, including ECOLOGO and EPEAT certifications.
- Support project teams in reviewing compliance information, test results, and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and project milestones.
- Stay current on sustainability trends, environmental standards, and certification requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in sustainability, circular economy, and environmental certifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience or exposure to sustainability, ESG, environmental compliance, manufacturing, electronics, or certification programs is a plus.
