About The Role
As a key member embedded in the Scrum team, you will translate business needs into actionable requirements and user stories, lead documentation efforts, and collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that solve critical challenges in the US healthcare payment space.
*Base Pay Range: $60,100 - $98,700

- Business Analysis: Elicit requirements, map current and future-state processes (As-Is / To-Be), perform gap analysis, and document functional specifications (FSDs) and acceptance criteria.
- Lead Documentation Efforts: Own the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Story Management: Write, refine, and manage user stories in the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Collaborate with engineering and Scrum teams to plan sprints, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Scrum Team Integration: Act as the voice of the customer within the Scrum team, participating in all agile ceremonies and ensuring continuous alignment between business and technical teams.
- Validation Leadership: Coordinate with QA and business users to validate features and ensure they meet acceptance criteria and business expectations.
- Business Translation: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
- A Bachelor's degree along with 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Healthcare IT and claims processing

- Participation in all agile ceremonies and continuous business-technical alignment
- Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent backlog and documentation tools
- Familiarity with data analytics or reporting tools a plus
- Teamwork: Working collaboratively with others to achieve common goals and positive results.

- Customer Advocate: Keeping the customer top of mind, understanding current and future needs.
