The Boeing Company’s Financial Shared Services team is seeking an Estimating Proposal Quality Review Manager to lead the Proposal Quality Review team from Hazelwood, MO .

In this role, you’ll guide a multi-site group of proposal quality reviewers, build strong collaborative partnerships with Boeing proposal teams, and work closely with Compliance, data/tool, and training teams to help deliver exceptional, high-quality proposal submissions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Proposal Quality Reviews (PQRs) and Certification Quality Reviews (CQRs) process, team, metrics, and tools
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the proposal teams in order to achieve first-time quality proposals and certifications
  • Oversee the PQR dashboard and metric tools to ensure efficiency and automation contribute to organized reviews of proposals and certifications
  • Track PQR waivers and early Basis of Estimate (BOE) releases, assess and report PQR metrics to leadership and estimating managers to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Work with the compliance senior manager to provide guidance/training in regard to estimating system compliance
  • Support estimating system audits, including development of corrective actions and implementation of process improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
  • 3+ years of experience with estimating techniques and relationships used in practical application (e.g. cost models, cost estimating relationship)
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal process management
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Experience presenting to Senior Leadership

Summary Pay Range: $124,950 - $169,050
