We're looking for an experienced Employer Partnerships Manager to lead employer engagement and partnerships across our South Central operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and strengthen relationships with local, regional and national employers, creating sustainable employment opportunities for the people we support.

You'll work closely with operational teams, employers, commissioners and partners to identify opportunities, develop strong employer relationships and ensure our employer offer delivers excellent outcomes. You'll play a key role in connecting our participants with the right opportunities while supporting our teams to deliver against ambitious performance targets.

The role can be based within a reasonable commuting distance of any of our South Central offices, with regular travel across the region being an essential part of the role.

Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
Location: This is a regional role covering our South Central operations. You can be based within a reasonable commuting distance of any of our South Central offices, located in Brighton, Banbury, Basingstoke, Chichester, Guildford, High Wycombe, Oxford, Reading, Slough or Staines.

Regular travel across the South Central region, including visits to employers, partners, stakeholders and our offices, is an essential and non-negotiable part of the role. Candidates must therefore be willing and able to travel regularly as required.

What you'll be doing

As our Employer Partnerships Manager, you'll

Develop and implement effective employer engagement strategies aligned to local labour market priorities and organisational objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, Local Authorities, commissioners, funders and strategic partners to maximise employment opportunities.
Identify and develop new employer partnerships, creating opportunities for job vacancies, placements, work experience and training.
Work closely with operational teams to ensure employer engagement is aligned to participant needs and programme requirements.
Support the delivery of excellent employer-led outcomes across multiple locations and programmes.
Monitor performance against key targets and use data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to share best practice and strengthen our employer offer.
Represent Fedcap externally at employer events, stakeholder meetings and other relevant forums, promoting our services and strengthening our reputation.
Ensure employer engagement activity is delivered in line with contractual requirements, organisational policies and our Quality Management Framework.
Manage relationships and activity effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently and employer opportunities translate into positive outcomes for participants.

What we're looking for
You'll be a confident relationship builder who enjoys developing partnerships, identifying opportunities and delivering excellent results. To be successful you'll have:

Proven experience in employer engagement, partnership development, business development or account management.
Experience of working with employers and developing relationships that deliver positive outcomes.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with employers, partners and internal teams.
Experience of working towards performance targets and using data to monitor and improve outcomes.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships effectively.
Experience of working collaboratively with operational teams to achieve shared objectives.
A good understanding of local labour markets and the ability to identify opportunities within different sectors.
The flexibility and willingness to travel regularly across the South Central region.
It would be great if you also had experience within the employability, skills, recruitment, education or not-for-profit sectors.
