About The Role

What You’ll Do

-

Performance-focused influencer strategy . Establish the strategic vision for how influencer-led storytelling builds trust, consumerizes our science, sparks advocacy and drives action, fueling both brand equity and measurable customer acquisition and revenue growth.

-

Diversified influencer portfolio . Build a reliable influencer pipeline aligned to brand and growth priorities, defining the role of macro- and micro-influencers (including health & wellness and lifestyle influencers), celebrity talent, health care practitioners and other subject-matter experts, and customer advocates.

-

Productive influencer partnerships . Cultivate authentic relationships and long-term partnerships with cultural voices, healthcare experts and creators who can inspire community and make microbiome science and gut health engaging, relatable and accessible to everyone while increasing influencer-generated new customers.

-

Disciplined testing and optimization . Work closely with the DTC team to develop clear frameworks for campaign types (organic vs. paid, affiliate vs. whitelisted) and creative, systematic testing approaches (testimonial vs. quote, still vs. motion, clinical vs. lifestyle storytelling) to consistently improve influencer CAC and revenue efficiency.

-

High sharable messaging and formats . Collaborate with the Creative team as well as Clinical and Regulatory to provide strategic guidance to influencers to balance creator authenticity with Pendulum’s science-forward guardrails, while developing messaging and formats that scale.

-

Multi-platform reach . Scale our influencer program across various channels, including organic, DTC (including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters and other emerging platforms), HCP and Wholesale channels.

-

External agency & partner management . Partner with our PR firm, talent agencies and affiliate network to drive influencer relationships, creator content and credible expert voices that convert into meaningful coverage and thought-leadership opportunities, and measurable, durable outcomes.

-

Dependable process and reporting . Create and own holistic dashboards and reports delivered on a weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence to ensure accountability, transparency, iterative optimization informed by top-performing campaigns, and predictable growth.

-

Team development . Mentor and develop Pendulum’s Manager, Influencer Marketing to build a high-performing Influencer team.

-

Cross-functional long-term planning . Represent influencer marketing in cross-functional planning - annual and quarterly brand and growth planning, launch calendars, and budget cycles - so influencer activity is sequenced with PR, paid media and retail moments.

Pendulum influencers selected to speak at conferences, panels and cultural forums as well as participate in bylines, interviews and citations.
