About The Role

Do you want to join a global leader in Private Equity and Renewable Energy Infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the place for you. We are currently looking for a motivated Analyst (Student Assistant) to join the Events department in our Investor Relations and Business Development team in CIP, based in our headquarters in Copenhagen.

Team

The Investor Relations & Business Development (IR & BD) team is responsible for all investor-facing activities and business development – from product and fund design to fundraising, onboarding, and servicing investors. The team is international and diverse, comprising about 75 professionals from backgrounds such as investment banking, management consulting, and law, based in nine offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

The role sits within the COO function of Investor Relations, a team responsible for driving operational excellence and supporting investor-facing activities across the organisation. The COO team works across events, client engagement, business management, and strategic initiatives, partnering closely with colleagues in Capital Formation, Client Service, and Product & Strategy to deliver a seamless investor experience. The team plays a key role in coordinating and executing CIP's global investor events and stakeholder engagements.

Role

As an Analyst, you will play an integral role in supporting the planning and execution of investor-facing events and activities across the Investor Relations platform. Working in a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with colleagues across Investor Relations and the broader organisation to help deliver high-quality experiences for investors and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to

  • Event coordination and execution : Support the planning and delivery of investor-facing events, including roundtables, embassy events, site visits, annual meetings, conferences, and other strategic investor engagements.
  • Logistics management: Coordinate event logistics, including venues, catering, transportation, audio-visual requirements, accommodation, and event materials.
  • Registration & attendee management: Prepare and coordinate invitations, manage attendee lists, track registrations, and support communication with participants before, during, and after events.
  • Event collateral & materials: Prepare and distribute event materials, including agendas, name badges, signage, presentations, and other supporting documentation.
  • On-site event support: Provide support during events, including venue setup, guest management, speaker coordination, and real-time problem solving.
  • Post-event reporting & follow-up: Support the collection of participant feedback, assist with event debriefs in CIPit, and contribute to recommendations for future events.
  • Budget administration: Assist in tracking event budgets and maintaining accurate records of event-related expenses.

You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or in the early stages of a Master's degree within a relevant field, such as Project Management, Service Management, Communication, Business Administration, or similar.

An interest in investor relations, events, and the private markets industry is beneficial. Most importantly, you are motivated to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a dynamic, busy environment.

We look for the following in a candidate

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. It will be required to work flexible hours from time to time.
  • An initiative-driven, service-minded, and hands-on approach, with a genuine willingness to support the team where needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across different stakeholder groups
  • A structured and detail-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of accountability and follow-through
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to remain calm and effective when plans change or deadlines are tight
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others to deliver high-quality results
  • We will, of course, accommodate academic commitments, but as the role may occasionally involve travel in connection with events, we are looking for someone who is open to travel when opportunities arise.

Please note that we do not offer a remote working opportunity, thus you must be a Danish resident or an upcoming student enrolled in a Danish university to be eligible for this role. Students on exchange in Denmark are not considered eligible for this position.
