The impressive 15-storey Hilton Vienna Park combines an outstanding city-center location with one of the most extensive hotel and event operations in Austria.
With 663 guest rooms, approximately 3,500 m² of event space, 21 multifunctional meeting rooms and two pillar-free ballrooms , we are one of Europe’s largest downtown meeting and event hotels and can host conferences, meetings, celebrations and large-scale events for up to 2,000 guests .

As Food & Drink Manager / Director of Food & Drink , you will be responsible for bringing these different areas together into one successful, guest-focused and commercially strong operation. You will work closely with the Hotel Management Team and other departments to continuously develop the F&D strategy, team performance, service standards and profitability of the hotel.

As our Food & Drink Leader , you will
- Take overall operational responsibility for the hotel’s Food & Drink venues and Meetings & Events Food & Drink operation
- Lead, develop and inspire the Food & Drink leadership team and all F&D Team Members
- Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction and create memorable guest experiences across all F&D areas
- Drive the successful execution of Hilton brand standards, hotel standards, company policies and all applicable legal requirements
- Take ownership of the financial performance of the entire Food & Drink operation
- Prepare, manage and monitor budgets, forecasts, revenue performance, payroll and operating costs
- Analyze financial and operational results and take appropriate action to achieve and exceed business objectives
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, hygiene, productivity and operational efficiency
- Take responsibility for workforce planning, holiday coordination and effective scheduling across the department
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels in line with business demand and operational requirements
- Conduct regular communication and leadership meetings
- Ensure Team Members receive the necessary training, development and support to succeed in their roles
- Develop and motivate your teams while creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing working environment
- Represent the Food & Drink department within the Hotel Management Team and act as a strong ambassador for your teams
- Work closely with Culinary, Commercial, Finance, Human Resources and other operational departments
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our concepts, service delivery, guest satisfaction and commercial performance
- Champion the quality, positioning and overall Food & Drink offering of Hilton Vienna Park
- Lead by example and ensure both hotel objectives and the professional development goals of our Team Members are achieved and exceeded
To be successful in this role, you bring
- Several years of proven leadership experience in a comparable Food & Drink management position within a hotel or similarly complex hospitality environment
- Previous responsibility for a sizeable Food & Drink operation, ideally including restaurants, bars, banqueting and/or meetings & events
- The ability to step confidently into a senior F&D leadership position from day one – this role is not intended as a first Food & Drink Manager / Director position
- Completed hospitality, hotel management, culinary or comparable professional education
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop large and diverse teams
- Strong operational knowledge of Food & Drink service and hospitality standards
- Sound knowledge of and genuine passion for Vienna’s restaurant, bar and hospitality culture
- Excellent financial and commercial understanding, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and performance analysis
- A strong understanding of guest satisfaction, quality management, hygiene and operational standards
- An open, confident and approachable personality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to prioritize effectively and remain composed in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to plan initiatives and ensure timely follow-up
- A hands-on leadership approach combined with strategic and commercial thinking
- The ability to inspire teams and create an environment in which daily operational and long-term business goals can be achieved
