Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Platform Engineer with strong expertise in infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud environments, Infrastructure as Code, and platform modernization to join a global Corporate Design & Development team. The main focus of this role is to build, maintain, and continuously improve a highly automated cloud environment, leveraging DevOps practices and platform engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Engineering

Design, implement, and operate reliable infrastructure solutions, primarily within AWS and Nutanix environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security;

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation using tools and languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck;
• Build REST APIs and automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning and management;
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Apply IaC frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK to standardize and automate cloud and hybrid environment deployments;

Infrastructure Optimization

Modernize legacy systems by migrating and optimizing them for cloud environments, improving performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability;

Collaboration

Work closely with service delivery, data analytics, integration teams, and architects to ensure a consistent and secure infrastructure ecosystem;

Documentation & Best Practices

Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability across the infrastructure landscape.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and scripting;
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK;
• Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud environments and AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda);
• Experience with Nutanix is considered a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English.

Technical Skills

Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck;

• CI/CD and pipelines: familiarity with Git and DevOps practices;
• Containerization (nice to have): Docker, Kubernetes;
• Linux administration (plus).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
