Sr Supply Chain Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for a Sr Supply Chain Specialist to join our manufacturing site in São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating import operations, managing procurement activities, and supporting end-to-end supply chain planning to ensure the availability of products and materials for the Brazilian market. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, international manufacturing sites, customs brokers, and external partners to drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import processes, customs clearance activities, and all related documentation.
  • Plan the supply chain for imported finished goods from intercompany manufacturing sites to support the Brazilian market.
  • Plan the supply chain and procurement of raw materials for local manufacturing operations.
  • Manage direct and indirect procurement processes, as well as local inventory and stock levels.
  • Coordinate and oversee international commercial transactions with suppliers, companies, and government entities.
  • Plan import and export activities in accordance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and tax legislation.
  • Analyze international market opportunities and identify potential risks or operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with customs documentation requirements and coordinate activities with customs brokers and Brazilian Federal Revenue authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain performance, improve processes, and support business objectives.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with domestic logistics operations.
  • Experience managing import logistics and international supply chain processes.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
