As a Patient Access Representative in Central Scheduling , you're often the first connection patients have with our health system. Whether they're scheduling a routine appointment or coordinating specialized services, you help guide them to the right care at the right time.
Your attention to detail, compassion, and problem-solving skills help make scheduling simple, accurate, and stress-free—creating a seamless experience for both patients and providers.
💼 What You'll Do
- Schedule patient appointments across multiple specialties and locations
- Verify insurance eligibility and ensure required information is complete
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and scheduling requirements when needed
- Help patients find appointment times that best meet their needs
- Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate with providers, clinics, and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidentiality

📋 Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (or 2 years of applicable experience in lieu of education)
- 2 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience
