The Institute for the Environment is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to fill the position of Assistant Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Coordinator (or designates) in liaising with various task leaders to facilitate research progress;
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team, covering project management, general administration, budgeting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Organize project events, seminars, and meetings; and
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of administrative work experience; OR
  • At least Level 2 (or equivalent) in 5 subjects in HKDSE, or 5 passes in HKCEE (including English * , Chinese, and Mathematics) coupled with at least 3 years of administrative experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player; and
  • Proven experience in project management will be an advantage.
  • (Note: For HKCEE English, a minimum of Grade C in Syllabus A or Level 2 from 2007 onwards is required.)

Terms of Appointment

This is a 1-year contract position, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical, and dental benefits will be provided.
