About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a qualified Shift Fitter to join our team based in our Windsor manufacturing plant.

As a Shift Fitter you will work within a small team in a busy and fast paced environment playing a key role in operations of the business. This role is a great opportunity for an individual to gain exposure in a successful manufacturing environment.

Your duties will include but not limited to

  • Perform to completion of all maintenance activities, whether planned or not, ensuring machine availability within budgetary framework
  • Carry out scheduled services to production machinery, and as required to plant services in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
  • Breakdown maintenance – identify issues and repair as necessary.
  • Ensure equipment is capable of the production of finished goods that meet the product quality requirements through capable and reliable processes
  • Identifies specific opportunities for product/process quality improvement
  • Carry out tool changes

To succeed in this role , you will need

  • Demonstrated experience in Production or Engineering/Maintenance supervision.
  • Experience gained in a fast paced manufacturing environment, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards
  • Contribute to a safe and compliant GMP environment
  • Knowledge of a CMMS such as Asset Guardian or similar.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to maintain and develop positive relationships with internal work teams.
  • Mechanical trade qualifications, a forklift licence (desirable), EWP Licence (desirable),
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day
