Senior QA Automation & Manual Testing Specialist (SFDC Commerce Cloud)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Lead with strong manual testing expertise to join a fast-paced B2B Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / Cloudcraze) initiative kicking off in two weeks. In this role, you will define and execute the overall quality strategy—building scalable automated test suites using Playwright and Selenium while hands-on validating complex B2B commerce workflows manually.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Architecture: Design, build, and maintain robust end-to-end (E2E) automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver tailored for B2B e-commerce applications.
SFDC Commerce Cloud Validation: Plan and execute comprehensive test suites (functional, regression, integration, and UI) across Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B architecture.
Manual Testing & Exploratory QA: Conduct detailed manual testing for complex business logic, custom checkout flows, pricing models, contract pricing, account management, and multi-tier user permissions.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate test automation pipelines into modern CI/CD workflows (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to support continuous testing and release cycles.
Defect Life Cycle & Collaboration: Work closely with Salesforce developers, functional consultants, and business analysts to reproduce, log, track, and verify complex technical defects.
API & Data Testing: Execute API testing (REST/SOAP) via Postman or automated scripts to validate integrations between SFDC Commerce Cloud, ERPs, and third-party gateways.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 8+ years in QA Engineering, with a balanced background in both test automation and strategic manual testing.
Platform Expertise: Proven track record testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFDC B2B Commerce / Cloudcraze) ecosystems.
Automation Tooling: Hands-on mastery of Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) and Selenium WebDriver (Java or Python).
B2B Commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B e-commerce concepts (account-based pricing, quick orders, bulk order processing, payment/credit terms, punchout catalogs).
Test Management & Methodology: Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum processes, test planning, risk-based test execution, and tools like Jira / Xray / TestRail.
API Testing: Proficient in API test design and execution for middleware and SFDC integration points.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified B2B Commerce Accredited Developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator).
Experience testing headless storefront applications or custom Lightning Web Components (LWCs).
Familiarity with cross-browser/cross-device cloud platforms like SauceLabs or BrowserStack.
