Patent Research Expert

Major responsibilities

1. Carrying out professional patent searches and analyses in an international environment, e.g. in WO-, EP-, US-, CN-databases.
2. Advising particularly inventors, research & development functions about the technological state of the art.
3. Recording of technical facts and formulation of technical summaries.
4. Support in patent application and grant proceedings as well as opposition proceedings
5. Monitoring and assessment of competitors.
6. Continuous development of existing patent services and development of new services.

Requirement profile

• Formal education: BE or master’s in mechanical / Electro-mechanical Engineering
• Professional experience: > 3 years

• Defined competencies: · Good technical skills with overall knowledge about pump, valve, motor.

• High independent & autonomous way of working and reliable functioning.
• Planning and Co-ordination
• Analytical ability
• MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
