About The Role

The Account Manager - P&C (Property and Casualty) is responsible to manage and grow a portfolio of Property & Casualty clients by delivering high-quality insurance and risk advisory services while driving new business opportunities. This role is responsible for both client servicing and business development, ensuring clients receive tailored insurance solutions while identifying opportunities to expand relationships, generate new revenue, and strengthen the client pipeline. Success in this role requires strong market knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders.

The Role

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of Property & Casualty clients, ensuring their insurance and risk management needs are understood and delivered through tailored solutions.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and delivering exceptional service at every stage of the client lifecycle.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting opportunities within target markets while continuously enhancing the client pipeline.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and achieve portfolio growth targets.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the broader insurance offering to maximise client value and retention.
  • Lead insurance renewals, program design, negotiations, and placements, working closely with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, referral partners, and key stakeholders to support both client servicing and business development objectives.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team culture by maintaining compliance standards, sharing market insights, supporting colleagues, and achieving individual and team revenue targets.
  • Collaborating with local and international colleagues and teams, in support of expanding our global value proposition, including oversight of our customer support service brokers.
  • Promoting the WTW brand within the insurance industry both locally and internationally.

The Requirements

  • Experience in a similar broker service delivery role
  • Have the Tier 1 (insurance broking) qualification and demonstrated commercial accumen
  • Proven understanding of claims management processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are outstanding. Whether you are communicating one-on-one, or to a group, your exceptional interpersonal skills ensure you stand out from the crowd
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to prepare thought leadership publications
  • Skilled in coverage/wording review
  • Strong negotiation, troubleshooting and persuasive techniques to manage customer and business relationships
