Your next career opportunity

As Executive Support Officer at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the School Executive office. You will provide high-quality executive assistant support to the Head of School and School Manager, coordinating governance activities and priority projects. Your proactive approach and exceptional organisationa l skills will enable you to build positive relationships, contributing to a culture of excellence and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Providing High-Quality Executive Support: Manage co m p l ex diaries, correspondence, and approvals, and support HR processes and travel arrangements.
  • Ensuring Efficient Administrative Operations : Coordianate Coordinate day-to-day activities, act as primary contact for the School , and maintain effective filing and database systems.
  • Coordinating School Events and Communications : Plan and deliver events, prepare newsletters, and manage communications with staff and students.
  • Building Strong Relationships : Foster connections with academic and professional staff, contributing to process improvements and collaborative initiatives.

You may be a great fit if

You have a degree or extensive experience in executive assistant roles , bringing exceptional organisational and communication skills, along with a proactive and collaborative approach to support administrative operations.

You may also

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sound judgement.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Be adept at building positive relationships and thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Have experience or understanding of the higher education sector
