Container Washer

• Southern Oregon Sanitation , in Grants Pass, OR is looking for a Part-Time Container Washer to join the team in Grants Pass, OR !

• Starting Pay $19.00/ hour
• .
• Part-Time: Up to 24hrs/ per week.
• Create Your Own Flexible Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 8:00am-5:00pm
• .
• Drug and Alcohol testing: Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random selection drug and alcohol testing per DOT requirements and Company policy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Power washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins and containers
• Maintaining an organized yard and inventory tracking
• Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
• Working outside in all weather conditions.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

• Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18years of age
• Must pass pre-employment 5-pannel Drug Screen & Background Check . (Required)
• Have reliable transportation
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to safely operate a power washer and other hand tools as required.
• Ability to adhere to work schedule communicated and agreed upon.
• Driver’s License preferred, but not required.
