About the role
The IT Program Director will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the Global Workplace Technology Program . This role involves collaboration with key IT stakeholders and enterprise-wide partners to ensure successful delivery of multiple workstreams . The position requires managing teams to resolve issues, maintain timelines and budgets, and achieve a standardized global service delivery model.
- Standardize IT Service Delivery globally, including implementing a 24x7 outsourced service desk and associated processes (based on the ITIL framework).
- Consolidate multiple ServiceNow instances into a single, global platform to support the standard process framework.
- Define Colliers Digital Workplace model, including defining standard end user devices, office technology and management platforms.
- Deliver training and change management to Colliers global IT staff and user community. Implement a simple and effective financial charge-back mechanism for
- global IT services.
- Plan and manage multiple complex, regional, and cross-functional enterprise projects in alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
- Develop program goals, timelines, and charters with key stakeholders, and create RACI matrices.
- Manage diverse stakeholders and vendors, anticipate needs and risks, and conduct effective meetings via Teams and email.
- Build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and borders.
- Develop and maintain program plans, identify resource needs, and manage schedules.
- Drive creative and practical solutions to issues through effective collaboration.
- Ensure steady-state IT support for new technologies and comprehensive issue resolution post-implementation.
- Manage the programs financial health and establish an effective chargeback model.
- Provide professional and honest status reports tailored to the audience’s needs. Ensure regular updates using the appropriate format.
What you bring
- Minimum of 15 years in an IT Program / Project Management role at a large organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or a certificate in project management.
- Experience of running RFP vendor selection processes.
- Proficiency in program management methods and tools.
- Strong management and organizational abilities.
- Experience of the ITIL framework and with the commercial real estate industry is an asset
- Proven ability to motivate and manage large, diverse teams.
- Highly self-motivated with an outgoing personality.
- Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
