About The Role

Seeking an Exercise Physiologist to serve as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist at Saint Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes. This is a casual, as-needed position. In addition to other duties, this employee and will assist with cardiac stress testing, with the potential for training and completing PFT testing.

Education Qualifications

Completion of an exercise physiology program.

Key Responsibilities

Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services.
Involved in the ongoing development of these programs.
Conduct Stress Tests

This position is a casual/PRN position, intended to fill in PTOs, Leaves and open shifts. Available hours would fall Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. No weekend or holiday requirements.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
ACSM Certification at the exercise specialist level within 12 months of employment
OR a current RN license in MN with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 12 months.
