Your key responsibilities

As an Audit Supervisor, you will

Lead and execute audits across various Retail Banking domains within ING Belgium.
Develop a thorough understanding of business processes, associated risks, regulatory requirements, and expected control frameworks.
Assess the design and effectiveness of key controls and determine whether significant risks are adequately mitigated.
Perform audit fieldwork, including walkthroughs, stakeholder interviews, control testing, and data analysis.
Identify audit findings and discuss observations with stakeholders to drive meaningful improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners while managing expectations throughout the audit lifecycle.
Apply data analytics and innovative audit techniques to increase audit coverage and enhance audit quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.
Occasionally participate in audit assignments within other ING entities, such as the Netherlands or Luxembourg.

What you'll bring

Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or Retail Banking.
Strong understanding of Retail Banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to assess risks and evaluate the effectiveness of controls in a structured and pragmatic way.
Experience with data analysis and the use of data-driven audit techniques is an asset.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
