Your role
While working in the Transmission, Distribution and Renewables Division at AtkinsRéalis, you could put your skills to work in one of these key areas:
- Substation Lines and Infrastructure : Designs the infrastructure that delivers electricity across the grid , including substations , overhead power lines , underground cables , and the structures that support the safe and reliable delivery of power to communities .
- Protection, Control and Automation : Designs and implements protection, control, and automation systems for transmission, distribution, and generation facilities to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power system.
- Smart Grid and S CADA : Develops and integrates industrial automation, monitoring, and control systems that help utilities operate and manage transmission, distribution, and power generation facilities.
- Telecom : Designs and supports the communication systems that enable utilities to monitor , control, and protect the electrical grid, including radio, fiber optic, and network infrastructure.
- System Studies and Sustainability : Uses engineering analysis and computer models to help utilities plan, improve , and maintain a safe and reliable electrical grid .
About you
- New graduate with a bachelor's degree in electrical or Structural engineering (Graduation in 2027).
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
