Forklift Driver

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join our operations team across our Wattleup and O’Connor sites in Western Australia. In this role, you will operate forklifts to safely and efficiently move a range of freight, including steel, timber, containers, oversized and abnormal freight. You will also assist with container unpacking and general freight handling while working as part of a supportive and safety-focused team.

These are permanent full-time opportunities, with flexibility to work across both Wattleup and O’Connor sites preferred.

Key Accountabilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload and move a variety of freight
• Handle steel, timber, containers, oversized and abnormal freight in accordance with safe work practices
• Assist with container unpacking and general warehouse and freight-handling activities
• Ensure freight is handled, positioned and secured appropriately
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily operational requirements and safety standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Current forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating a forklift
• Previous experience in freight, warehousing, logistics or a similar environment
• Experience handling steel, timber, containers, oversized or abnormal freight is highly regarded
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to following safe work practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong team focus
