Position: Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon

About the Opportunity
SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a prestigious healthcare organization in the UAE.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care to infants, children, and adolescents, working within a multidisciplinary pediatric team and delivering high-quality, evidence-based surgical and non-surgical treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
- Assess and treat congenital, developmental, traumatic, and neuromuscular orthopedic disorders in children.
- Perform appropriate pediatric orthopedic surgical and non-surgical procedures.
- Manage pediatric fractures, deformities, limb-length discrepancies, and sports-related injuries.
- Provide care for conditions including pediatric hip disorders, clubfoot, scoliosis, limb deformities, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions with pediatricians, radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate treatment options clearly to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree with recognised specialist qualification in Orthopedic Surgery .
- Fellowship/subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics is highly preferred.
- Consultant-level experience in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.
- Strong experience managing pediatric orthopedic cases across a broad age range.
Tier 1 / Western qualification preferred , including
- UK CCT / CCST
- American Board
- Canadian Board / RCPSC
- Irish specialist qualification
- Australian / New Zealand specialist qualification
- Other recognised international qualifications may be considered.
- Eligible for Consultant-level UAE licensing with the relevant health authority (DHA/DOH/MOH), subject to assessment.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a leading international or Western healthcare environment is advantageous.
