Product Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d)
Wellster Healthtech Group · München, Bayern, Germany
About The Role
Wellster is one of Europe’s leading digital healthcare platforms. We develop digital products and services that make high-quality medical care more accessible, convenient and patient-centric.
To further develop our online services, platforms and mobile applications, we are looking for a hands-on Product Manager / Product Owner who combines strong product thinking with a deep understanding of user needs, technology and business priorities.
In this role, you will own both the product backlog and the cross-functional project plan for one of our most relevant tech-elements (Medical Operating System) — from defining requirements and coordinating implementation to managing timelines, dependencies, risks and stakeholder communication.
Your tasks would be...
- Manage the day-to-day execution and implementation of the Medical Operating System backlog, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Act as a strong cross-functional facilitator, working closely with Medical, Commercial, and Tech teams to translate complex workflows and process gaps into actionable requirements
- Translate medical, operational and business requirements into clear epics, user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
- Structure, groom, and manage the product backlog, aligning sprint priorities with the strategic roadmap defined by leadership
- Coordinate project plans, sprint milestones, deliverables, and timelines across cross-functional teams to support the MedOS roadmap.
- Work closely with Tech, Design, Operations, Data Protection and other stakeholders throughout the full product development lifecycle
- Lead refinements, clarify requirements, resolve blockers and support pragmatic decision-making during implementation
- Review and validate completed work, coordinate testing and bug prioritization, and ensure release readiness
- Track progress, risks, dependencies and scope changes and provide clear and regular updates to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate rollout, user onboarding, training and change management while ensuring that patient safety, data protection and regulatory requirements are appropriately reflected
