Pay & Benefits
Starting pay: $17–$20/hour based on experience and certifications

Commonwise caregivers are supported by an experienced care team, including
- RN Care Managers who provide clinical guidance and oversight
- Caregiver Ambassadors who provide hands-on support and skills training
- 24/7 access to our after-hours team
- Ongoing training and continuing education
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
We work hard to make sure our caregivers have the tools, communication, and support they need to feel confident in their roles.
What You’ll Do
As a Commonwise Caregiver, you’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while building meaningful relationships with the people you care for.
Responsibilities may include
Personal Care
- Bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Feeding and hydration support
Household & Daily Living Support
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and organization
- Transportation and errands
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and engagement
- Communicating changes in a client’s condition to the care team
Every client is different, so care responsibilities will vary based on individual needs and care plans.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in caregivers who have
- Prior professional caregiving or CNA experience
- Experience assisting with transfers, gait belts, or mobility
- Dementia or memory care experience
- Strong communication skills
- A dependable and professional approach to work
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping others
Preferred, but not required
- CNA certification
- Home care, assisted living, or facility experience
- CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Demands
This position requires frequent bending and may include driving. Candidates must have sufficient communication, hearing, and visual abilities to perform the essential functions of the role, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to lift, push, or pull approximately 20–50 lbs.
