WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineer Principal must have
● This position requires 1-5 years of intensive and progressive specialized experience. This position also requires Germany TESA as follows:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years relevant experience (or)
Associate’s degree and 7 years relevant experience (or)
No degree and 11 years of directly applicable experience
Note: Minimum experience requirement will be the greater of position and TESA requirements.
● Security clearance level: SECRET
● US citizenship required
● Certifications: Possess and maintain DoWD 8570 IAM Level II Certification.
Possess and maintain journeyman/administrator-level certification appropriate to the VDI operating environment (e.g., VMWare using vCenter, Virtual Network machine (VNM), or other tools as appropriate and available).
Experience: This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience, of which at least three years must be specialized experience in administrating computer systems. General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network.
Certifications
- Possess and maintain DoW 8570 IAT Level II Certification
- Possess and maintain one of the following DoW 8570 Computing Environment Certifications appropriate to providing systems administration:
- VMWare VCP/Data Center Virtualization (or higher – Advanced Professional or Design Expert)
- VMWare VCP/vSphere Foundations Administrator
- VMWare VCP/Cloud Foundation Administrator
- Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ800/801)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associated (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- MCSA Server 2016
- MCSE Core Infrastructure

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
