About The Role
- WSP is currently searching for a Traffic Management Center (TMC) Program Manager!
- This role can work out of the office in Oakland, CA.
This Opportunity
The Traffic Management Center (TMC) Program Manager will be responsible for all work necessary to provide for the general management, oversight, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), contract administration, and management support personnel.
The Program Manager shall
- Be available all times during off-duty hours to provide assist operations staff.
- Participate in on-site and off-site meetings, build and maintain relationships with operational stakeholders.
- Manage staff administration, performance, and oversight.
- Lead performance measurement, management, and reporting.
- Implementation and oversight of client policies and directives.
- Lead data analytics activities including economic evaluation, and system evaluation.
- Report to the client daily on all matters affecting operations of the TMC.
- Attend meetings with the client for purposes of relaying information.
- Create and distribute weekly, and monthly reports as needed, and
- Address special requests by the client for gathering data and/or generating reports.
Education and Experience
Desired education and experience for this project include
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in TMC operations with a Minimum of 5 years of management experience in TMC, traffic operations, emergency operations, tolling, or transportation systems management and operations (TSMO)
- At least 4 years of project management experience
- Experience in managing projects and tasks from inception to completion, and
- Experience supervising employees.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $143,000 - $193,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
