All about the role
This position will have responsibility for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of the Regional Distribution Center. You will provide direction and leadership to all distribution functions including shipping, receiving and safety to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting quality and delivery commitments.
Where you’ll be
This role is be based onsite RDC Lancaster, TX.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end distribution center operations, ensuring on-time fulfillment of emergency, rush, and routine customer orders while meeting inventory and service objectives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Control, Supply Planning, Sales, Fulfillment, and HR to optimize inventory flow and customer service outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing KPIs and operational metrics to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve performance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and adherence to operational standards and procedures.
- Ensure effective workforce management, including timekeeping accuracy, performance management, and successful execution during peak order volume periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain or a related field.
- Proven people leadership skills with a strong track record of team building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in reducing costs, improving processes, leading change initiatives, and continuously improving operations.
- Strong knowledge of MO - Excell, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including load planning, routing, and shipment optimization while balancing service and cost objectives.
