The Consumer Product Enablement & Solutions team ensures Humana’s Insurance products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with consumer needs. Team members work closely with leaders across the enterprise, supporting timely regulatory filings and partnering with key business units to oversee strategic direction for all Insurance products. This Principal role provides program management expertise, guiding process improvement and technology adoption, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to advance Humana’s long-term product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Delivery & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and execution of product delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational priorities, and organizational goals
- Provide oversight of a portfolio of cross-functional programs, establishing governance, accountability, and execution standards that drive successful outcomes
- Partner with leadership to define delivery roadmaps, resolve escalated issues, and ensure successful execution of high-impact initiatives
Operational Excellence & Business Transformation
- Develop and execute operational excellence strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, delivery, and organizational effectiveness across Consumer Product Enablement & Solutions
- Lead transformation initiatives that modernize processes, operating models, and delivery capabilities while driving measurable business results
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate operational inefficiencies, and standardize practices across teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data, performance insights, industry best practices, and lessons learned
Performance Management & Organizational Capability Building
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, operational metrics, and program health measures to assess performance and support data-driven decision-making
- Provide strategic oversight of reporting, dashboards, and business reviews, ensuring leadership visibility into progress, risks, outcomes, and opportunities
- Lead the development and deployment of tools, methodologies, training, and best practices that strengthen program delivery capabilities and operational maturity
Executive Partnership & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations on delivery priorities, operational performance, transformation opportunities, and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Technology, and other key stakeholder groups to drive alignment and achieve business objectives
- Influence decisions and organizational priorities by effectively communicating business impacts, dependencies, risks, and opportunities
- Represent the function in leadership discussions, providing insights and recommendations that support strategic planning, investment decisions, and organizational change

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with outstanding academic credentials
- 7+ years of full-time work experience in consulting, corporate/business unit strategy, or program/project management
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly build and maintain trust with business leaders
- Highly collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented working style
- Strong commitment to personal and professional growth
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Managed care and/or healthcare services work experience
- 2-4+ years of experience with payer organizations
- 2-4+ years of experience in the Medicare market
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$166,700 - $229,200 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
