Gen AI Center of Excellence Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on GenAI CoE Lead to build and scale our Generative AI capabilities in Mumbai. This is a manager-level role (5–7 years of experience) with a strong emphasis on client delivery in the initial phase. You will lead by doing — directly contributing to client projects while setting up the foundations of our GenAI Center of Excellence. We are a privileged partner of OpenAI and Anthropic, giving you direct exposure to the most advanced LLM ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and growth of the GenAI Center of Excellence
• Be hands-on in client delivery: design, build, and deploy GenAI solutions
• Work directly with clients to identify high-value use cases and deliver MVPs and production systems
• Develop LLM-based applications (prompting, RAG, agents, fine-tuning where relevant)
• Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices
• Mentor a small team while remaining deeply involved technically
• Collaborate with leadership and report directly to the CTO

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in AI / Data / ML roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Certifications in OpenAI / Anthropic (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Proven track record of delivering client-facing AI projects
• Solid understanding of ML systems, APIs, and cloud environments
• Ability to balance technical depth and client interaction
