Would you like to work on the development of roof systems for future car models together with some of the market leaders in the automotive industry? Inalfa Roof Systems is a world leading supplier for OEM automotive roof systems and still growing strong. Are you ready to grow with us?

We are looking for an intern for investigation of edge AI Processing in ECU of roof, the candidate will participate in the design, deployment, testing and optimization of AI algorithms and lightweight neural networks on automotive ECUs

Key Responsibilities

  1. Search the possible solutions like MCU with neural processing unit(NPU) to accommodate AI processing to resolve the actual engineering problems.
  2. Implementing existing feature(s) as part of the NPU (e.g. Thermal protection of motor, or Anti-Pinch)
  3. Feature enhancement (any feature which is easy for NPU but difficult for the traditional SW, such as wear-out estimation of the motor, ...)
  4. Support AI algorithm pre-processing, post-processing, data sorting and annotation for ECU application scenarios.
  5. Conduct performance testing, latency analysis, resource occupancy (RAM/ROM/CPU) evaluation of AI models running on ECUs, and put forward optimization suggestions.
  6. Complete other technical tasks assigned by supervisors related to ECU AI processing development.

Requirements

  1. Undergraduate or postgraduate student majoring in Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Development or related fields.
  2. Able to work full-time for at least 3 months; long-term interns are preferred.
  3. Quick learning ability, rigorous work attitude, good team communication and execution skills.
  4. Familiar with C/C ++ and Python ; know about mainstream deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow / ONNX).
  5. Knowledge of model lightweight, quantization, model deployment on edge devices is a strong advantage.
  6. Basic understanding of automotive electronic control unit (ECU), automotive software or automotive bus protocol is preferred.
