About The Role

BeOne continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. When considering candidates, we look for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and most importantly, share our passionate interest in fighting cancer.

General Description

The Senior Project Manager, G&A Technology Solutions leads end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives for General Administration functions, primarily Legal, Compliance, and Business Development. The role owns the full project lifecycle – from early requirements through solution design, implementation, change management, and vendor management, to handover into operational support.

This is a technically focused project management role. The Senior Project Manager translates business needs into practical solutions, develops high-level solution architecture, and evaluates the feasibility and quality of designs proposed by internal teams and vendors. Key areas of focus include global system rollouts, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, integrations, data solutions, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Essential Functions of the Job

  1. Project Delivery, Stakeholder and Vendor Management
  • Lead multiple concurrent global and regional technology projects across the full lifecycle, from requirements and planning through solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and handover to operational support.
  • Establish clear project scope, plans, resource needs, roles, dependencies, and delivery governance, and maintain effective risk, issue, and decision management throughout the project.
  • Apply an appropriate delivery approach, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid, and manage changes through clear impact assessment, approval, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage business decisions, governance reviews, contracting, procurement, security assessments, environment readiness, and operational dependencies as part of the overall project delivery plan.
  • Drive alignment and timely decision-making across business stakeholders, GTS teams, control functions, application support teams, and external vendors, with clear ownership of actions and deliverables.
  • Manage vendor engagement from evaluation and SOW development through delivery, performance management, deliverable review, acceptance, and transition to support, ensuring that vendor commitments, costs, and quality remain aligned with BeOne requirements.
  • Provide clear, accurate, and timely project reporting, and escalate significant risks, issues, and decisions with recommended actions.
  • Plan for and drive the completion of applicable BeOne governance and control activities, including SDLC, information security, privacy, third-party risk, AI assessment, and required approval and audit documentation.
  • Ensure business and operational readiness for go-live, including stakeholder alignment, user communication and training, support scope, documentation, monitoring, service levels, and escalation paths.
  1. Technical Solution Design and Evaluation
  • Translate business requirements into practical solution approaches covering applications, data, integrations, identity and access, security, deployment, and operational support.
  • Develops and reviews high-level architecture, data flows, and integration designs in collaboration with architects, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Evaluate solutions proposed by internal teams and vendors based on business fit, feasibility, security, cost, scalability, and supportability, challenging unnecessary complexity or customization that could increase operational effort or vendor dependency.
  • For AI-enabled solutions, ensure that business value, success criteria, data and security risks, human oversight, and production support requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Competencies

  • Project Delivery: Plans and manages complex projects with clear ownership of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and outcomes.
  • Technical Solutioning: Enough technical depth to shape high-level designs, lead architecture discussions, and challenge solutions from internal teams and vendors.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Breaks down complex problems, identifies root causes and dependencies, and drives issues to resolution.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Evaluates vendor proposals, defines clear deliverables, and manages SOWs while protecting the company’s technical and commercial interests.
  • Governance & Compliance Rigor: Works within SDLC, information security, privacy, and third-party risk assessment processes and keeps projects audit-ready in a regulated life sciences environment.
  • Financial & Budget Awareness: Tracks project financials and manages the cost impact of change requests against approved budgets.
  • Global, Cross-Cultural Delivery: Leads teams and vendors across the US, Europe, JAPAC, and China, managing time-zone and cultural differences.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicates clearly across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior management, tailoring detail to the audience.
