About The Role

Latigo is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and diligent candidate with exceptional attention to detail to oversee laboratory resources and provide cell culture support for early-stage programs. The candidate will maintain an efficient biology-focused laboratory, with duties including consumable and reagent management, solution preparation, and cell line husbandry.

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

Coordinate procurement, stocking, and tracking of laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted support of research activities.
Manage and supervise the cell culture suite, including inventory, scheduling, training support, and adherence to established procedures.
Maintaining multiple cell lines for use in manual patch clamp and automated patch clamp experiments.
Accurate preparation of solutions for use in electrophysiology experiments.
Collaborate effectively with scientists, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to support research and program objectives.

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline.

Preferred experience and skills

Experience managing laboratory inventory, ordering, procurement, and vendor relationships.
Working knowledge of mammalian cell culture techniques and laboratory best practices.
Experience maintaining scientific data storage systems, electronic records, or laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
Team-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
