Sample Preparation Technicians are an essential part of the laboratory testing workflow. Your work ensures that client samples are prepared accurately and efficiently so they can be analyzed and transformed into reliable results.

What you’ll do
Sample Processing
- Ringing, sieving (including International Soils), crushing and splitting samples under supervision
- Load and unload drying oven
Laboratory Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain accurate production logs and following established procedures to ensure quality cand consistency
- Perform general leaning duties to support lab cleanliness and assist with layout tasks as needed
Safety & Compliance
- Always Complying with ALS safety standards and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring
Core Qualifications
- Strong hand eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic alphanumeric comprehension
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good Organizational habits and strong reliability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
- Ability to stand for a full shift
- Ability to be clean shaven to ensure proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) fit
- Ability to wear PPE such as dust masks and gloves
- Occasional desk-based tasks
What we offer
Competitive hourly wage $25.57 - $26.57/ hour at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
Shift Premiums
Afternoon Shift Premium $2.00/hour
Current Shifts Available
Days Shift including Saturday
Afternoon Shift including Saturday
