About The Role
Signature Aviation is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement (CI) to join the company’s Continuous Improvement & Data Science team. This leader is responsible for driving enterprise-wide impact through the identification, prioritization, and execution of strategic improvement initiatives. This role serves as an internal consultant and change agent, partnering with business leaders across the enterprise to improve performance and profitability.
The Senior Manager, CI leads complex cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation and sustainment, leveraging structured problem-solving methodologies, data-driven decision making, and organizational change leadership. This leader is expected to build continuous improvement capabilities across the organization while ensuring initiatives deliver measurable improvements in operational performance, guest experience, and EBITDA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enterprise Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of CI professionals and emerging leaders
- Lead a portfolio of high-impact improvement initiatives aligned to strategic business priorities
- Serve as project lead for large-scale cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Design and implement sustainable process improvements that address systemic issues rather than symptoms
- Develop organizational proficiency and adoption of CI principles, tools, and behaviors across the organization
- Increase the identification and adoption of best practices across the enterprise
Business Partnership & Value Realization
- Act as a trusted advisor and partner with senior leaders to translate business challenges into data-driven strategies and solutions
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities for improved EBITDA, guest experience, and operational performance
- Develop and execute CI roadmap aligned with company strategic objectives
- Define success metrics and monitor realization of business benefits from CI initiatives
- Establish governance mechanisms to ensure accountability, execution discipline, and sustained measurable results
- Partner effectively with Data Science, IT, and business leaders to scope and deliver scalable data products and solutions
Minimum Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field
- Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Business Transformation, Consulting, or related disciplines
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
Additional knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping
- Strong data acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions
- Ability to lead and influence across multiple functions and levels of the organization without direct authority
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into structured improvement initiatives
- Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience driving organizational change, building alignment, and overcoming resistance to new processes and ways of working
- Strong executive presence and communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with all levels of leadership and frontline team members
- Strong project management capabilities, including scope management, prioritization, risk management, and executive communication; experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Aviation experience preferred
- Willingness to travel 20 – 40%
